For many, home ownership is a dream come true!

One of the greatest gifts of living in America is the freedom of Homeownership. As a realtor, one of the most rewarding experiences is being able to help a first time homebuyer achieve a dream of owning their own home. At The Janet Jones Company, we can help make this dream a reality!

A few weeks ago, I sold new buyers their first home, and during the process they kept telling me how they couldn’t believe they were actually able to buy a house and they really couldn’t believe what a great house they were able to find and purchase. There are so many reasons to buy a home, so here are our top three benefits of buying your next home:

  1. Rent has been increasing. This year alone, rent prices are forecasted to go up between 3 - 5%. Believe it or not, owning a home can typically cost you less monthly and, with a mortgage, you gain equity as you pay it down.
  2. Your home is your space. Decorate how you want. Hang what you want. Paint what you want. Plant what you want. Your home is a reflection of you, and when you own your home you can add of the personality you want.
  3. Less tax, saving you money. You can deduct your mortgage interest payments from your income taxes, and you can deduct your real estate taxes, too. When you rent, you’re money is not investing in anything, but when you own a home, you’ve created a long-term investment for you and your family.

One of the best things about selling homes is to help people achieve their dreams and goals. I tell my friends and family I have the best job in the world! We get to meet incredible people who become lifelong friends as well as be a resource for them in one of the most important decisions and investments they will ever make. Homeownership is life changing! Let us take you through the process of first time home buying, from prequalification to closing! We are prepared for the challenge and would love the opportunity  to work with you and be a part of your home buying experience.
