Tanya was raised in Mountain Home, Arkansas and moved to Little Rock in 1991. she later moved to Maumelle, where she resides with her husband, John. They have two sons, Drake and Cole, and are active members of their community and development in Maumelle. They like to enjoy the outdoors, hiking, cycling, running and golfing.
